If you were with me 
My life would be something different 
Hopes would be fulfilled that magnificent ,
If you were with me.

If you were with me 
I would manifest myself at the apex,
Underneath the heavy files of
duties and responsibilities, 
I would not loss my precious time 
If you were with me.

If you were with me 
My life would be flourished 
According to my desires and potentialities, 
To reach the high sky
To touch the deep ocean of love 
To smell the fragrance of soulfulness
Would be in my fate,
If you were with me.

If you were with me 
I could listen the melodious rhyme of living, 
I could feel the sweetest essence of breathing, 
I would remain ever in a heavenly feelings
If you were with me.

Being a prolific writer, Debajani Das has contributed towards literature in versatile ways, linguistic barriers have never been an obstacle in her way.
