You Are the Breeze, a Poem by Aziz Mountassir

 

You are the breeze that flows through my ways,
A gentle whisper that my senses embrace.
With every step, in destiny’s maze,
I feel your breath, a dream that stays.

Like the sun that wakes the dawn anew,
Your presence lights up my soul.
In the dance of early morning dew,
I find in your arms my whole.

You are the murmur of a tranquil stream,
Guiding me through twilight’s gleam.
In the echo of your words, so serene,
I uncover a universe I long to dream.

Your eyes, two stars in the night sky,
Shine with the glow of endless constellations.
In their reflection, doubts say goodbye,
And I find peace in your intentions.

Like the wind that caresses the meadow wide,
Your love wraps softly around my skin.
In your laughter, in your voice, I confide,
In your heart, my true home within.

You are the melody that stirs my soul,
An eternal song, gentle and whole.
In the rhythm of your love, I find control,
And in your embrace, the end of all dole.

Oh, breeze that dances through my life’s lane,
Never stop blowing through my day.
For in your breath, hope will remain,
And in your love, my reason to stay.
