Serious Bullying Harm Society, an Article by Angela Kosta

In recent times, very often we learn and news of aggression and bullying in middle and high schools and, this happens not only among teenagers or classmates but also towards teachers. This incites the whole community to reflect and not remain indifferent to such actions that harm not only those who denote bullying but also all of us, starting with the simplest citizen, parent, teacher and others.

Unfortunately, bullying is becoming very common among those who will be the future of this globe. Just a few days ago, a 16-year-old boy attacked his classmate with a knife right near the school, yet another attacked his teacher in front of the whole class. No one intervened, everyone with their mobile phones in their hands filming the scene. This makes us reflect on how much the world has changed. In our time, no one dared to disrespect those who gave us good manners and instructed us. We didn't do it out of fear; This was because we had great respect for our professors. If the opposite happened (I would rarely point out), we would arrange meetings not only with the parents but also with the pupils. Family played an important role in this. No parent went against the school, against the principal or the teachers. The relationship between school - pupils and parents was created and functioned correctly and with dignity. There were good rules that they attributed only to the positive trend to live in a society where good manners were the principles and values as it should be. Perhaps, 30 or 40 years ago we were poor, we missed so many things, yet we were so smiling and happy because we were full of smiles and affection of brotherhood.

Bullying is the manifestation of the serious problems that today's young people carry within themselves. The difference between yesterday and today means that there is more number and growth of sometimes dramatic events. Technology, well-being, that somewhat distant but very affective relationship with our parents, the solidarity chain of having a lot of respect for those who were older than us, leaving a free seat on the bus to the elderly or pregnant women, giving sincere greetings or wishing well without selfishness and hypocrisy, being ready to intervene to help those in need,  Valuing and putting into action all that our parents and grandparents taught us, important elements in our growth, were fundamental. And it was the latter who were our psychologists who understood us on the fly if something had gone wrong. This happened because we were very close and shared endless moments with the family; Today the opposite happens: from an early age, children isolate themselves, create a vicious circle, play on mobile phones with virtual companions, and this produces artificial intelligence: the coldness of children robots, the innumerable games sometimes harmful, so our children become insensitive, they fully acquire loneliness, they carry within them anger and resentment towards parents who hate each other, divorce each other, not guaranteeing in any way a stable growth to those who carry and gradually develop psychological problems, full of desire for expression and venting towards those they wish to belittle,  believing and being convinced that those in front of them do not deserve to be on their equal. Only a healthy family grows and makes healthy beings available to society. The human perspective must extend to the individual and global level on the problems that are making the earth sickest the most, thus destroying nature. A very effective comparison would be not only between school and children but above all between parents and children. I think it is useless to repair the damage of bullying that a child causes to others, by going to a psychologist, (obviously this is very necessary), but it is necessary that the parent pay more attention to those who grow up and those who have in front of their eyes but who often fail to see, horrified by their selfishness of not accepting in the first place the failure of having raised a child that heralds not only bullying but also delinquency, because if it is not brought out at the right time, those who vent by psychologically and physically targeting the weakest, a troubled future awaits him.

Choice of Creation, an Article by Tamikio L. Dooley

When art colors build a strong foundation
How does choism (choice) signify art and color?

What does it mean when an artist or painter uses Choice of Creation? Choism (choice) is always the artist or painter, initially the human choice of structure and creation. The creator first questions are:
·       What will I paint or construct?
A house, a pair of shoes, a horse shed?
·       What topic or category should my work involve?
         Nonfiction, fiction, memoir?
·       Based on what I’m constructing, topic, or category, what colors should I chose?
      Black, white, orange, green, etc.

The point. The artist or painter analyzed decision about starting the process. They grasped a strong thought forming in their mind focusing what they wanted to accomplish. Of course, the creator gave some thought as to how people would view their artwork, but the thought of others is not their only reliable source. They use much of their time and thoughts constructing their work, colors, shapes, sizes, form, revolving the object or object they chose to pain. Choism (choice) is always so simple.

Now, look at the artwork I label The Crimson Wall.

Why? In The Crimson Wall, I’m depicting, from looking at the color use, the artist painted this artwork using shades of red, burgundy, rust, pink, blue, teal, and white.  The colors red, burgundy, and pink gives bold meaning the wall, while rust edge the picture frames. The artist used colors of white and teal materializing images in the picture frames. And I noticed how the rust shades sneaks in creating a new brown color. Triangles on the walls above the frames outlined in rust and white, creating a newer brownish-silver shade.

Two Poems by Iris Calif

The voice of the Nile angels carrying the God of my body
Daughter of God
- Iris Calif

God
King of the Angels of the World
Our Father in Heaven
Brave Yaakov
Lord of all deeds

In the light of the Nile Angels
The night is before his eyes
God's bearing my body in front of the senior of the moon
And in the creation of my heart a spirit of love is written
Blessings of the daughter of God
Nude writing lyrical holy poets
Touching A vertical stack of sacred hymns
Kissing in front of heavenly things in paradise
And in the "Bible" that speaks of the honegcomb offering
The sun pours out lovers
A living soul grows
holy Silence kneels
An incarnation of an essential melody
The voice of my soul is buried in the dripstone of God
And it shall be called The splendid rain of the heavens
Of my poem And the Allowed in land
And in the fields of everlasting blossom
I'm the Iris
Daughter of love
Daughter of Human
Daughter of life
Daughter of God.

In the Israel moon of my living heart
The Human universal Iris Flower of World of Peace
- Iris calif

God
Our Father in Heaven

Sovereign of all the Worlds

I'm naked from the flame of mysterious reds rivers heaven land Zion
As a human universal iris flower
I am breathing occult to the spirit of the whiteness virginity, pure dream
In the candlesticks of heaven's living the purple halo of my burning Candle
As Iris, a human flower, I am inflaming my fire goddess Worlds dance to a human blue Star David in the land of heaven Canaan
And in pure wilderness of human Eve, desert, ashes, days gather my promised land Life
And the holy tempest was purified
Kneeling in me world of love

Two Poems by Deepti Shakya

What Will Tomorrow Bring

In life's uncertain journey, we know nothing about the next moment,
So we can never predict what's going to happen tomorrow.
Don't worry unnecessarily about the future, have hope and be ardent,
Make sincere efforts with positive perspectives, try to forget the sorrow.

What will tomorrow bring, it's just a mystery,
Time always changes, one day problems will also end.
In life's game, sometimes we lose but sometimes we get victory,
God has plans for everyone, so trust his process, my friend.

We should not focus on what will happen tomorrow,
It may bring a dawn of surprises or a night of troubles.
Always remember that heavy rain is what causes a rainbow,
Live in the present, life is a tapestry of struggles.

Overthinking about tomorrow can lead to anxiety and depression,
Life is all about moving forward in every situation.

A Tale of Parenthood

A melody of existence whispers in the air
In the delivery room, a new life blossoms
A moment full of joy, so surreal and awesome
A journey begins with immense love and care.

An intense longing to see the newborn's face
Tears of happiness flowing amidst excitement
An eternal bliss of becoming a blessed parent
A precious miraculous feeling of tender embrace.

A most beautiful gift sent from the universe
A unique bond that connects hearts deeply
A child's cry and laughter create a symphony
Lullabies weave golden and delightful verses.

A sweet tale of parenthood beyond description
Emerges as a blessing with fervor and elation!

Two Poems by Dr. Prasana Kumar Dalai

Nothing But Impalpable Dreams

Sometimes moonlight brings peace
And music of flute illusion in the world
Your fiery eyes reflect like a mirror
With all those scattered dreams
Now you bring only sorrow for me
Your closeness brings tear on my eyes
Now me just unknown soul to you
Spring brings me letters from clouds
Time heals the old painful memories
You're nothing but impalpable dreams.

Lost Words

My eyes do tell an untold tale
A bit nostalgic, fading memories
That used to flow in small streams
No matter whether one listens or not
She used to talk ,things familiar to me
Like writing passages and reciting lines
It ended as my tears stopped rolling
A better time would dawn in my life
The lost words would reverberate
Again in my untamed lips sometime.

Come Back, a Poem by Muhammad Rahal

May the heart guide you
God willing, I will answer your question,

You don't want
The woman who loves you will miss you,

If he has money, he can share with you,

You have time that tempts you
Thank you always
My dear!

There is an honorable place for you
Your love is my whole life,

Your beauty and your eyes enchanted me
There is a lover,

It's like
I'm lost in your love
I hope to see you,

You've been gone for a long time
What is the point of missing?

you will come back?

I wished to live with you and your children
You are my love always,

Come back!

Again, a Poem by Srashti Srivastava

This is not it,
As to, what you state as yours!
The places you visit,
Yet hide great stories to restore.
The person you want to meet,
Is already present behind your heart's door.
It is not, what it is!
You have grace that asks for more.
We know situations come to decieve,
But, life holds bigger than just few snores!
Everytime you try to sneak..
You have to buckle-up even more.
It is fear that make you free,
Just once you experience them all.
Again, you are left with what you already had!
You have to learn to love yourself, and adore.
Realize, that's not it!
Embrace the courage inside you to explore.

Words, a Poem by Eva Petropoulou Lianou

Words
Silence is not the answer
When Sun rise

Moon is a light that
Give birth
To our dreams

Action
We can only trust
When the reality
appears

We don't need
so small minds

We are here
to believe
In our thoughts
And in our principles

When the miracle
is happening
Only Flour
Can give the solution
To a hungry mouth!

Two Poems by Zlatan Demirović

Universal Chords

In plural being, all exudes peace and harmony.
In accordance with unstable
and stable currents,
which flow through waterfalls
of infinite dimensions
in the final calm of resolved tensions.

No tension, or longing for
unattainable,
no resolution is created,
with intention and with the goal
of returning to the peace of prosperity.

The stone of existential stumbling blocks,
through magical sound
unresolved chords,
full of creative potential
plunges through whirlpools and geysers
lakes of timeless stability
and final relaxation Wednesday
bringing the road to an end.

The universal mind composes that symphony!
Decreased chords, raises, and downs,
are planetary systems, which tend to
towards unification into galaxies.
Sad vibrations of nostalgic moles
bear the shadow of the unfulfilled,
sometimes neglected scores,
interplanetary bridges of minor tonic
full of aspirations for the expansion of the chromatics of joy.

In the record of that Great Work,
everything gravitates towards a safe path
dominant chords.
But there is no smoke and mays,
which, as if calling for action
universal full consciousness,
which carelessly hovers in an endless whirlwind
microparticles of stardust.

And all that until the final crescendo
and explosions of the universal core
with the birth of new stars
in the dominant-winning major ...

Dear,
I would have to tell you everything again,
But, by some miracle,
I always run out of words...!

Punished Souls

He was strange to me,
from the very beginning...
Gifting passers-by
with small bouquets of dry wild flowers,
while showing the children
how to feed his parrot,
letting them enjoy
in his linguistic bravura performance
and dancing in place.

The old man was in a great mood,
so, he would start a conversation with each,
but in the end, specifically with me...

Those drawings on wood,
displayed right next to the bench,
which obviously belonged to him,
captured my attention exceptionally.
It seemed as they were alive,
extending their hands
and calling passers-by
to take them away...

Well, I didn’t miss to learn
their genesis from the old man.

"These are not works of art," he told me.
"These are only ultraviolet
photographed smiling souls,
while expressing the joy of life".

I was convinced,
that, to occupy attention,
he can expertly...

"Ah, I'll tell you a secret!
Souls are here on earth,
by punishment,
learning to rejoice!
Along the way, they are sanctioned in life
for every non-rejoicing"...

Look at this, I said to myself,
I have read many mystics so far,
but I didn't even think
that I would ever meet someone like this.

And he continued,

"Finally then, so well taught,
they happily travel back...
Have you ever heard of a soul,
which regrets leaving,
and willing to come back"...

I already have felt dizzy,
but he didn't give rest...

"Souls are like bees,
flying around
collecting pollen,
so, they carry it to the main hive,
and then, on a well-deserved rest"...

I looked around,
is there any tram!
With that last heard,
convincingly ringing in my ears,
I was to leave this strange park,
which reminded me
of Patriarchal Ponds,
from "The Master and Margarita"...!

The Doorway of Consciousness، a Poem by Neha Bhandarkar

My existence in me
the size of a small dot
was getting tortured
by the ordinariness in me

Orderly, to and fro, moving senseless meaningless thoughts
grow innumerable offshoots
of thorny toxic branches

For a moment, my existence
turns multi-coloured
Thoughtlessness shatters
my own ideal tenets

Unrestrained passions
get reined in
by a genteel ray of discreetness
with the guilty horse within me

The cloudy windows
of the grizzly mind
start fading automatically
to open the door of conscience!

Two Poems by Isabel Furini

Scarecrow

Spread
night terrors
those scarecrows
straw
and grudge...
his straw eyes
outshine
the street lights

- where they transit
darkness arises
spit it on the ground
and meandering
between archaic words
Horror

those scarecrows
they roughly tread
on bare feet
reopening the wounds
that time healed.

Fled

he left one morning and did not return
but left in its place the attachment
- the attachment of having breakfast together
to go to the market
to comment
new hollywood movies
and recently released books

love is gone...
like a bird released from prison
today spends the night in the desert
and write on the walls of a castle
poems with uncertain destinations
love is gone
but his shadow of a freed bird remained
stitched to my ankles!

Two Poems by Laskiaf Amortegui

The Day Goes-out

The day goes out and the stars awake in the twilight.
The wind dances among the angry waves of the sea.
I, sitting here in solitude, watch the beach.
The day goes out and you don't arrive.
Our bonfire burns out little by little.
I lie down on the cold sand,
while my desperate soul travels to the depths of the sea, in search of you.
The day goes out and some tears blur my eyes.
Certain memories haunt me...
I don't want to be here anymore!
The day goes out...
And with it, between snatches,
the illusion of having you alive in my arms.

Spring Rebirth

Tender little paws bathe in the spring flower.
So I permeate myself in you,
the time has come to unleash life.
I sail bravely among your nectar,
you bloom majestic,
exhaling exquisite aromas on your skin.
I fall prisoner submerged in your garden, pleased,
you open up like fertile soil to give harvest,
I am a seductive labourer sowing seed.
When the new spring arrives,
you have germinated your fruit;
lost dreams and lost longings of both of us are greened,
and even more when I see that tender and splendorous smile
that makes us fall in love.

Just Feel Equal, a Poem by Aarav Gupta

Importance of humans rights
May stop human fights.
Just feel equal
You will feel nice.

I can share my saddness
So that we get happiness.
I can share my thoughts
Irrespective of sex gender and height.

As I follow human rights
I shall ensure no one cries.
Make everyone comfortable
Other's should feel nice too.

Two Poems by Prof. Ljiljana Samardžić

November Morning

Early November "morn",
before the dawn,
I'm standing by the window,
the deafening silence all over...

I'm looking into the thick darkness,
only moonlight rays are sparkling
through the branches.
There's nothing alive,
only the remaining yellow leaves
are playing in the breeze...

I enjoy the deaf silence and pitch darkness,
while through my thoughts are passing
nearby dearest faces
peacefully sleeping,
dear ones in some distant parts of the globe,
and my beloved who left this world...

I'm exposing my face to the breeze
to feel its caresses,
while deeply breathing
clean, cool air,
soothing my longings...

I would've stayed immersed
into primordial darkness and silence
for quite long
if the first city bus passing nearby
hadn't interrupted my awake dreaming.

I finally went to bed,
its warmth embraced me,
I was sinking into a deep, calm sleep,
hoping to continue
the awake dreaming...!

Primordial Love

Life brings us
new encounters,
new challenges...
For a moment we think
that the time has come
to say goodbye
to old loves,
move on and build
a new love
from the start...
But it lasts
just like a timid summer rain,
and then we return
to the old love,
that nowhere moves
from the bosom...
Only stays calm
until the shower passes
and restarts to spread its flame
through the chest
with a new, but silent longing,
without passionate regreting
that we are no longer united,
realizing that
only such love is
imperishable and eternal,
love of the soul,
Primordial...!

Prof. Ljiljana Samardžić was born in Belgrade (SFR Yugoslavia), but she spent most of her lifetime in Sarajevo, where she completed Elementary school, finished High-Grammar school and graduated in English language and literature and Serbo-Croatian language at the Faculty of Philosophy. Along with the work as an interpreter/translator in a foreign trade company, she first studied Italian language and literature, and later, in 1992, she was still attending painting school when the war broke out in Sarajevo. So, she began working as an interpreter for the UN military observers, other international and Serbian organizations. After the war and the decomposition of the former Yugoslav territory, she left Sarajevo and moved to Sokolac, the Republic of Srpska, where she worked as an interpreter in the OSCE Regional centre. At the end of 1998, she left Bosnia and Herzegovina and joined her closest family in Novi Sad, where she worked as an English teacher in an elementary school. As a retired professor, she teaches English, translates poetry from and into English and writes her own poems in both Serbian and English.
