Lapsus, a Poem by Angela Kosta

Smile between your teeth
torn core
A strip of torment
anthem without notes
Echo off between screams
burning on feet wet with tears
on the ground of ash and rubble
bowels scattered everywhere
breathless voice
clash against the future
Indulgence denied
into the abysses of itself.
